I am proud to announce that Rhonda Bourland has been chosen as the Middle School Teacher of the Year. Rhonda is an outstanding educator and co-worker! She serves as a science teacher, science club lead sponsor, teacher mentor, and technology leader at the campus level, as well as, a member of the Character Education Initiative at both the campus and district level. Each day Rhonda creates an interesting and positive learning environment where her students enjoy making science come alive. She integrates technology into her science lessons to grab students’ attention while making learning fun and motivating! Through classroom and science club activities, Rhonda incorporates the values of character education helping to build positive character within her students. She cares deeply about the success of her students stressing academic excellence and the importance of demonstrating good character. At FMS, we are proud of her accomplishments and take great pride in presenting Mrs. Rhonda Bourland as our Teacher of the Year!
