Who would have ever guessed that a FISD High School Head Baseball Coach would be able to transition to an Early Childhood Campus and find contentment and joy in working with the boys and girls of this particular age group. One can not describe Nash Martinez or his position here on the Early Childhood without mentioning the one factor that, while intangible, proves to be the hallmark of his success in teaching, and that is his love and concern for the students he serves here on the Early Childhood Campus as well as the comorodity and professionalism he shares with the ECC Staff. Mr. Martinez is now completing his 3rd year on the ECC, and I want to say they have been 3 years of dedication and commitment to our students and staff. I have had many opportunities to observe Mr. Martinez in and out of class as he interacts with his students. He is always complimentary, sincere and never misses an opportunity to let a child know that he is proud of them. Nash is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the students he serves is treated with dignity and respect. I asked a few staff members to describe Mr. Martinez, and without hesitation, the adjectives stated were: FLEXIBLE, ENERGETIC, AWESOME, FRIEND, POSITIVIE ROLE MODEL- We are pleased to have Nash Martinez as part of our ECC Family.
