Hello, my name is Nash Martinez, Jr. I am currently the Physical Education teacher at the Early Childhood Campus as well as the PE/Wellness Coordinator for FISD. I am a graduate of Floresville High School and The University of Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. I have had the privilege of coaching at both the middle and high school level holding the capacity of Head Baseball and Head Soccer Coach. I am a member of the Texas High School Coaches Association and the Texas Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. I have the ability to set the building blocks for a lifelong love of learning working with Elementary students. Teaching is about inspiring, encouraging an interest in students to learn, providing a safe and disciplined environment for learning, and most of all showing students you care. In my spare time I enjoy traveling with my spouse (Dina) and three daughters (Isabella 11, Abigail 8, and Karissa 5). I would like to thank the staff at ECC for their nomination as Teacher of the Year for our campus.
