2006-2007 Science Club Constitution

Article I: The Science Club purpose shall be to foster awareness of scientific issues to students, faculty, and the community, as well as to participate in and lead environmental efforts at school and in the community. |

Article IV: Election of the Executive Committee shall be held near the end of each academic year. Every attempt must be made by the Executive Committee to ensure that all voting members are notified about the vote at least one week in advance. |

Article V: Any officer may be impeached if he or she is not performing his or her designated tasks. Before any formal discussion of impeachment, the officer must be informed of concerns about his or her performance. |

Article VI: Any member may propose a policy to the club by drafting a formally written proposal that outlines all details of the policy, and then presenting it to the club at a general meeting. After the proposal has been presented, a vote will be held to decide whether or not to enact the proposal. The club Sponsor retains the right to overrule a policy, or a vote for rejection of a policy if the policy or lack there of is not in compliance with FMS school rules. |
