On October 5th, our principal,  Mr. Richard Hayden, read the  book Pumpkin Soup to an appreciative  group of two third grade classes.  Pumpkin Soup was written and   illustrated by Helen Cooper,  1998, Great Britain, Doubleday.

Pam Ray, a proud parent and former  Floresville High School teacher also read  to two fourth grade classes on October 5th. Her book was Fossils Tell of Long Ago, by Aliki, Thomas Crowell, New York, 1972.    We'd like to thank her and all our  Guest Readers for their participation.
	Mrs. Ray even had a activity for the students to do, after her reading!  The students are really enjoying these  story times!
