My Great, Great, Grandparents, Doctor Amasa Dorman Evans b: July 25, 1838 in Greene, Alabama  d: Oct 25, 1902 Floresville, Tx. and Mary Elizabeth Ford b: Feb. 28, 1854 Washington, TX d: Dec. 23, 1927 Alpine, Tx, they are both buried in the Floresville City Cemetery.  They had three children together, James Hardie , Amasa Dorman, and Mary Alline Evans.  Now Mary Elizabeth Ford was Dr. Amasa D. Evans second wife.  His first wife was Caroline Rutledge b: April 5, 1841 in Perry Co., AL d: May 11, 1871.  Dr. Evans and Caroline had 5 children together.

James Hardie Evans, my great grandfather, and his wife, Harriet Elizabeth Myers, had three daughters all born in Floresville, Wilson Co., Tx.  The three girls are:

Almeda Dorothy Evans b: Oct. 13, 1911 Floresville, TX  m: Charles Ewing Treadwell, jr.
    (Dorothy and Charles had 1 daughter, my mother)
