Virtual Field Trip(s) to the Alamo In May of 2006, 25 G/T students from Floresville Elementary School toured the Alamo. We began our visit with the library of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. The 5th grade G/T students created these little videos for you, using the photos the entire group took that day. If you're not able to come to the Alamo yourself, perhaps these will give you some ideas of what it's like. You'll notice that there are no photos from inside the chapel (the building which most people think of when they think of the Alamo). That's because photography is not allowed inside the chapel, or inside the Long Barracks. We hope you get to visit the Alamo and San Antonio some day.
