how to save your fractal (or moire) image: get the image just the way you want it on your computer screen. while holding down the alt key, click the print screen key (named something like prtSc-- upper right of keyboard).

do start, programs (or all programs), accessories, paint. do edit, paste (or right-click paste, or control-v). say "yes" if it asks if you want to enlarge the bitmap. maximize the window so you see all of your fractal image. get the select tool (the little click and drag box in paint-- looks like a rectangle) and select just the black box with your fractal image. do edit, cut, file, new, (say no when it asks if you want to save changes to the original) edit, paste, then save.

if you have a newer version of paint, save your fractal as jpeg, not bmp. (older versions: you're stuck with bitmap). save it as one word, no caps, no spaces, and save it somewhere you can find it again (at school, to your folder on bob).

in order to use it on the web, your fractal must be saved as either a .jpeg or .gif file. if you couldn't do that in paint, go to start, programs, microsoft office tools, and microsoft photo editor. do file, open, look in, and find your fractal where you saved it. open it and do save-as, and choose .jpg from the drop-down menu at the bottom. this is a good place to resize your fractal, too.  go to image, resize, and make it be 50% of the original size, for example. save again. see if it's a good size for whatever you're going to do with it. resize again until it is a good size.
