All About Me Project

As a way of getting to know one another, everyone will complete the “Me Kid” as a graded assignment.  This project will be counted as a Social Studies grade and a Language/Speaking grade. 

Each child will need to describe themselves by decorating their person.  For example, if the student enjoys watching the Spurs, they can create a Spurs hat on their person.  If their favorite chips are Cheetos, they can make a shirt out of a cleaned Cheetos bag. 

The person should resemble the child as to hair, eye, and skin color.  The clothing should give us an idea about what the child likes to eat, do, watch, etc.  On the back of their person, they need to write their name, address, number of family members, names of pets if any, and favorite likes and dislikes. 

The student may receive outside help from parents, grandparents, siblings, etc.  I encourage family participation.  However, the student should be prepared to share their project with the class.  They will be asked questions about their project.

This project will be due on Friday, August 29 at 8:00 a.m.  Late projects will not be accepted.  If you have any questions, please let me know.
