There are three kinds of matter. The three kinds are solid, liquid and gas. A solid is hard as a desk. A liquid takes the shape of its container. A gas is what we breather.

      What I Know about Matter

There are three kinds of matter. There is solid, liquid and gas. Gas is air. Some gases are not good for you. Smoke is not good for you. Liquid is water. If you pour it on a desk, it will not be the same shape the cup shape was. A solid is hard like a block. I like doing experiments. I like to do them every day. I like to do liquid, solid and gas.

A Scary Story
by Mrs. Henke’s Class, 2nd grade

One day I went to a dungeon and here are some things that I saw.  There were skeletons hanging from the walls.  Around the corner there was a spooky ghost that scared me.  I screamed! The ghost said “BOO!”  I ran the other way. I ran through cobwebs.  Then I ran into a creepy vampire.  When the vampire smiled at me, I saw his long fangs.  Before he could suck my blood, I ran outside into the bright moonlight.
