I was born and raised in Floresville, Texas. I graduated in 1984 from FHS. This is my third year at Floresville Primary School teaching first and second grade, and I’m sure it will be an exciting and joyful year.

However, I am not new to the District. Prior to coming to the Primary Campus, I was employed for five years at the Middle School. I graduated from Texas A&M University @ Kingsville and received my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education.

I am married and have a wonderful husband Gilbert and two great son’s Brandon, who is in the ninth grade and Shayne, who is in seventh grade, both students of FISD.

I am also so excited, I am so privileged I have been blessed with a wonderful teacher aide Mrs. Oralia Silva, she has brought a lot of knowledge and support for my students; this is what makes my program such a success and I'm happy to be able to service all new students and help them reach their highest academic and social potential.

I am pleased to be part of your child's life.  My goal for my students is: “All children are capable of learning; although they do not all learn the same way”.
