Gifted and Talented

The  purpose of the Floresville's I.S.D.'s Gifted and Talented program is to provide services specifically designed for gifted students to demonstrate skills in self-directed learning, thinking, research and communications as evidenced by the development of innovative products and performances. These products and performances are advanced in relation to students of similar age, experience, or environment and reflect individuality and creativity.

Students at the primary level will be tested in the spring of each school year to see if they meet the Floresville Gifted and Talented criteria for being admitted into the program. Parents and the community will be informed through the local newspapers, FISD Home Page and letters about qualifications and nominations.
