The students are all working on their individualized lessons in CEI. The students will begin reading stories and answering comprehension questions this month. The students are also writing stories using the CEI journal on the computer and also using some of their lesson vocabulary words to create their own stories.
The second grade students parameters have been changed for the second semester. Many of their speeds have been moved up and some of the introductions have been removed and the students will have to read the introductions themselves. The word match is no longer matching pictures with words. The students now have to type the correct answer with the definition and the context clues sentence is no longer read to them.
