Jacob Castoreno has been awarded an Air Force ROTC scholarship for next year and will be attending Texas A&M.  This is the 2nd year in a row we've had a J.R.O.T.C. cadet be selected for a scholarship with John Elolf earning one last year.  Congratulations, Jacob.

Shannon Sledge and Scott Sledge have been selected for the prestigious Aerospace and Technology Honors Camp.  Over 1,200 applications were reviewed and only 470 cadets from across the U.S. were selected.  Shannon, a junior, will be attending the University of New Mexico and Scott, a sophomore, will be attending Arizona State University.  The camp will include hands-on curriculum activities with university professors, visits to Air Force bases, research labs, aerospace industries and a ride in a small Cessna-type aircraft for each cadet.  The Air Force pays for the airplane transportation to the university and room/board for the entire week.  We are very proud of our two Honors Camp selectees!
