The program started at 6:30 p.m. and ended about 7:00 p.m. We had a wonderful group of 153 fourth grade students participating and over 400 family members and community members attended. The program was directed by Mrs. Ruth McEntire, a music specialist at Floresville Elementary, and assisted by Mrs. Katherine Johns. The students performed various songs including, "Texas, Our Texas," "The Yellow Rose of Texas," "Deep in the Heart of Texas," "Texas is Great!," "Home on the Range," and "Ragtime Cowboy Joe." Projects created by the fourth grade students throughout the year were displayed.
