Odyssey of the Mind: 2007!

Floresville Elementary had great success at the Odyssey of the Mind Regional contest in Taylor this last Saturday.  All 4 teams will be advancing to the State Competition in Houston on Saturday March 31.  Serving as Judges from Floresville Elementary were Karen Jackson, Ellyn Kramer, Ruth Leal, and Steven Walton.  Thank you judges for helping!

Problem 5  I’m Only Thinking of You—Coached by Sara Garcia and Lorelei Rodgers
1^st Place—Team A: Gabriel M., Megan H., Hudson M., Macy L., Brielle B., Heather M., Victoria M.
2^nd Place---Team B: Cora M., Louis S., Autumn K., Zach F., Casandra R., Isabella M.

Vincent V. received an “Omer” award for his outstanding creative performance of the Snow Monkey! 
We had a great turn-out of parent support at Taylor.
