  2. Discuss video and the things George Washington Carver did using Talk about it: What words and ideas describe George Washington Carver.
  3. Discuss how the students can apply the character traits to their own lives.
  4. Play game: Match the cards about Carver’s favorite plants and some of the things he made from them.
  5. Color picture of George Washington Carver.
  6. Optional: Write about it:  Carver found many uses for peanuts and sweet potatoes. What uses can you think of for other plants?   Can you find the peanuts in the picture?
